Certified Group Fitness Instructor
Embody is excited to welcome our newest trainer, Tori McKay to our team! Tori is a certified group fitness instructor. She is proficient in delivering effective coaching skills to make an enjoyable class experience. Exercise & nutrition have always been a big part of Tori’s lifestyle and she is eager to put her passions to practice. Not only has she been a participant in the small group training program at Embody for the last few years she is very excited to help lead it. Tori is excited to encourage, motivate, & drive clients every session here in the studio. She is confident she can help anyone reach their fitness goals and exceed their own limitations. Outside of coaching you can find her running, as she is marathon training, enjoyinghockey games, & spending time with her friends & family.
Certified Personal Trainer, Pregnancy/Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist
Fitness and exercise, and all of the benefits that come with it, was something I found prior to ever becoming pregnant and I loved it! Once I became pregnant with our first child, utilizing fitness to help build a solid foundation and prepare my body for pregnancy was a natural process for me. I couldn’t believe how beneficial it was and how prepared I was for postpartum recovery. I became certified as a licensed personal trainer during this first pregnancy, and later became specialized in pre and postnatal exercise so I can help other ladies feel the same physical and mental benefits that I have felt through my pregnancies. The joy of helping ladies prepare their body’s for birth and rebuild their bodies after birth has been unbelievable! Seeing improvements in the ladies during the class and hearing their stories like, “I can finally sneeze without leaking!” makes it all worth it! If this mindset and thought process is something you would like to explore, I would love to chat and see if we would be a good fit!
